Senior Crypto Licensing Consultant — Lithuania · Crypto License Europe
Lithuania specialist with 9 years of experience in FCIS licensing and Baltic financial regulation. Lukas has led over 20 VASP registrations and CASP authorization projects in Lithuania, with direct working relationships at the FCIS and Bank of Lithuania.
Lukas Berg leads Crypto License Europe's Lithuania practice from the Vilnius office. Lithuania was one of Europe's most active VASP registration hubs before MiCA, and Lukas has navigated the full evolution — from early FCIS VASP registrations through the MiCA transition to full CASP authorization under the Bank of Lithuania's supervision.
Lukas joined Crypto License Europe in 2019 after several years at a Vilnius-based regulatory consultancy and an early-career stint at Deloitte Lithuania. His FCIS network and understanding of Lithuanian corporate law make him particularly effective for clients targeting the Baltic market or looking to use Lithuania as an EU passport hub.
Lukas Berg holds an LL.M. from Vilnius University, Faculty of Law, specialising in EU financial services regulation and corporate law. He supplemented his law degree with studies in EU Financial Services Regulation and is fluent in Lithuanian, English, and German.
Lukas and the Crypto License Europe team will assess your project, identify the optimal licensing route, and guide you through the full FCIS / Bank of Lithuania authorization process.
