Andrei Tamm

Andrei Tamm leads Crypto License Europe's Estonia practice from the Tallinn office. Estonia was the first EU member state to establish a formal crypto licensing regime, and Andrei has been present through every major evolution — from the original FIU registration framework to the post-2020 tightening and now MiCA CASP authorization under Finantsinspektsioon.

Andrei joined Crypto License Europe in 2019 following roles at EY Estonia and a Tallinn-based financial compliance consultancy. His direct relationships at Finantsinspektsioon and deep understanding of Estonian corporate law make him the go-to resource for clients targeting the Estonian market or the broader Scandinavian-Baltic region.

Andrei Tamm holds an LL.M. from University of Tartu, School of Law, specialising in EU financial services regulation and corporate law. He holds additional certification in AML/KYC compliance and is fluent in Estonian, English, and Russian.
